We had a bit of trouble getting through the smaller door inside the big front door due to our big backpacks, but the staff at Hostal Mexiqui Zocalo kindly assisted us. The art and murals in the hostel were exceptional and added a unique touch to the atmosphere. Additionally, the library was a great feature for avid readers like myself.
While there were a few drawbacks such as the noise from the neighboring restaurant and the limited breakfast options, overall I would still recommend Hostal Mexiqui Zocalo for its pleasant ambiance, helpful staff, and convenient location.

Located right in the heart of the city, this hotel had the perfect location for my holiday. The room was clean and comfortable, with a stunning rooftop view that left me breathless. One of the best aspects of my stay were the complementary breakfasts and happy hours that the hotel offered. The breakfasts were a combination of pancakes, eggs, and plenty of fruit to eat. And to top it all off, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The shower was a huge disappointment during my stay. The water temperature was highly inconsistent, and check-in took much too long.
